Open Mic Cult is a microbudget feature movie now in production.

Open Mic Cult features original music performed by the songwriters as well as music in the public domain, recorded live on location at Cult Classic Brewing, Stevensville, Maryland.

Excerpts from the podcast Roadkill Opera are being incorporated into Open Mic Cult.

Certain scenes are scheduled to be shot outdoors in the parking lot at Cult Classic Brewing on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Principal photography is scheduled for late January 2027 at Cult Classic Brewing.
